The hotel sits in a calm, local neighbourhood away from Tokyo's busiest districts, yet remains well-connected. Iriya Station (Hibiya Line) is a 5-minute walk, offering direct links to Ginza and Roppongi. JR Uguisudani Station is 10 minutes away, and Ueno Station - with Shinkansen and airport access - is 15 minutes on foot. Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo are within a 15-20 minute walk, and Senso-ji Temple is a 15-minute bus ride. Both Haneda Airport (50-minute train) and Narita Airport (1-hour train) are reachable via public transport. Several restaurants and convenience stores are within a 5-minute radius, and the area is walkable to the Yanesen district.

Rooms are available in Japanese style (tatami mats with futons) or Western style (wooden floors with twin or double beds). The Deluxe Japanese Room is more spacious, with larger windows and extra luggage space, and can accommodate up to four futons. All rooms include a fridge, electric kettle, green tea bags, yukata, hair dryer, and a safety deposit box. En suite bathrooms have a toilet and shower; some include a bathtub. Standard rooms are compact - suited for sleeping and storing essentials - while the Deluxe Room offers more floor area. Futon thickness can vary; additional padding is available on request. Some rooms overlook the garden, and blackout roller blinds are fitted for good sleep. Daily housekeeping is provided.

Breakfast is ordered and paid for on site, with four set menus to choose from (800, 1200, 1300, or 1400 yen). The Japanese set includes grilled salmon, rice, miso soup, and side dishes; the Western option offers eggs, toast, and salad. Vegetarian requests can be accommodated. Breakfast is a set meal, not a buffet, and changes slightly each day. There is no on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding streets have a variety of eateries within a short walk - from casual ramen shops to traditional Japanese pubs (izakaya) - and several convenience stores are nearby.

The private bath is a small, traditional wooden ofuro located on the ground floor, bookable upon arrival (limited to one slot per night). It provides a relaxing soak after a day of sightseeing. The hotel also offers a free Japanese tea ceremony, which is a popular cultural experience. There is no swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. For those who prefer public bathing, the neighbourhood has sento (public baths) within walking distance.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout, a safety deposit box at the front desk, and CCTV for security. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out.
