The hotel sits one block from the boardwalk and beach-no streets to cross-providing direct access to the sand and ocean. It is 2 km from Jolly Roger Amusement Park and 3 km from the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. The Inlet is 20 blocks south along the boardwalk, walkable for a concert or sightseeing. A trolley runs daily from the inlet to 27th Street, stopping on 18th Street for $4 each way (exact cash or credit cards). Free on-site parking is available at one space per unit, with free side-street parking as overflow. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Anthony's Carryout, Sinbad Restaurant, and Phillips Crab House, making dining convenient.

All rooms are carpeted and include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a seating area with a sofa bed, and a dining table. The kitchen comes with a full-size fridge, four-burner stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and full cookware (pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and glassware). A hair dryer and iron/ironing board are provided in the closet. Room dividers between the bed area and sofa are available on request. Road-facing rooms may experience noise from traffic; requesting a room away from the street is advised. The layout is spacious and practical for families, with comfortable beds and good water pressure reported. Some units have been updated, and the property undergoes ongoing renovations.

Malia's Cafe is located on the first floor of the hotel and offers breakfast and lunch, including coffee, pastries, and cooked meals. The cafe is open for these meals daily. Free drip coffee is available in the rooms, and each kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. Several restaurants are within a short walk along the boardwalk and nearby streets, including Sinbad Restaurant, Anthony's Carryout, and Phillips Crab House if a wider variety is desired.

The outdoor pool is open from early April (subject to seasonal opening) until early October. It is heated during cooler months (spring and autumn), making it comfortable for swimming in September and October. The pool deck includes outdoor furniture and a sun terrace. The beach is just half a block away, with chair and umbrella rentals available via an umbrella stand on 18th Street next to the beach. There is no fitness center, game room, or spa on site.

A trolley stop is on 18th Street for easy boardwalk exploration.
