Hotel Details

Location

Situated on Corstorphine Road, minutes from Murrayfield Stadium and Edinburgh Zoo, with a bus stop at the door.
The hotel is on a main road, offering direct bus links to the city centre (10-20 minutes) and Edinburgh Airport via the Airlink 100. Haymarket Train Station is a 2 km drive or a short bus ride. The location is very convenient for rugby matches at Murrayfield and zoo visits, though roadside rooms can experience significant traffic noise. Free on-site parking is available but requires a reservation and has only six spaces.

Dining

Breakfast is included and offers a cooked option; there is no restaurant or bar.
Breakfast is a basic cooked-to-order Full Scottish or continental buffet served in a small dining room. The cooked option typically includes one egg, one sausage, one bacon slice, half a tomato, toast, tea or coffee. Some find the selection limited. The hotel does not have a restaurant or a bar, so for evening meals, nearby takeaways or a 10-minute bus ride into the city centre provide alternatives.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Reserve a parking space in advance, as the six on-site spots fill quickly and require a reservation.

  • 02

Use the Airlink 100 bus stop immediately outside the hotel for direct connections to Edinburgh Airport and the city centre.

  • 03

Request a room facing away from Corstorphine Road if traffic noise affects your sleep.

  • 04

Book a double room with an en-suite private bathroom for a more comfortable stay, as some rooms have shared facilities.
