Most major sights - Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square (700 m), Pařížská Street, the Jewish Quarter, and Petřín - are within a 10-15 minute walk. The nearest metro station (200 m) and tram stop provide quick connections across the city. The area is dense with restaurants, cafés, shops, and nightlife. Although the street is relatively quiet for the centre, the building's old construction means some rooms may pick up street or neighbouring noise; windows have good insulation but soundproofing is limited.

All rooms share the same equipment: a private bathroom with bath or shower, hairdryer, safe, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Standard rooms sleep up to 2 adults + 1 child on a double bed, with original wooden or stucco ceilings. Superior rooms add a sofa bed and accommodate up to 3 adults + 1 child, with painted wooden ceilings. Attic/Apartment rooms are the largest (50 m2) and sleep up to 6 adults + 1 child, often split over two levels with separate bedrooms. These rooms have original wooden attic ceilings. Bed firmness is high, mattresses are thin, and some rooms have two single beds pushed together. Pillows are thin and single. The building is old, so floorboards and walls creak and transmit sound; street-facing rooms can be noisier. Some rooms, especially on the top floor, can get hot; a fan is provided. There is no air conditioning.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, and juice. Hot items are limited, typically sausages. The breakfast room is small and can become crowded. After breakfast hours, the room becomes a common area with a PC and printer. Ambiente Brasileiro restaurant, located on the ground floor and basement of the same building, serves international dishes and Brazilian specialities for lunch and dinner. Numerous cafés and restaurants are within a 1-minute walk for additional dining choices.
