WAKEUP COPENHAGEN - BERNSTORFFSGADE, Copenhagen

All rooms come with a private bathroom with shower, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a desk, a hair dryer, and free Wi-Fi. Standard rooms (approximately 15 m2) have a double bed (160 cm wide) positioned against the wall, restricting access to one side, and limited storage - a few pegs and a drawer under the bed. The bathroom is separated only by an opaque sliding glass door, offering minimal privacy. Review-derived patterns show the spaces are suited to single guests or very short stays; two people with large suitcases will find them cramped. Sky rooms (middle floors) and Heaven rooms (top floor) offer a quieter environment and a view, with Heaven rooms also including a fold-out futon. Family rooms consist of two connecting standard rooms, each with its own private toilet and shower. Rooms are not soundproofed, so those facing the road can be noisier, while higher-floor rooms are generally quieter. The hotel enforces a strict quiet-hours policy and conducts nightly rounds. Air conditioning works but may struggle on warmer days and windows open only a few inches.

Bicycles can be hired from the hotel for 130 DKK per day. They are well-maintained and do not require advance booking. This is the main leisure option on site. The harbour front is directly opposite the hotel, where public swimming areas and walking paths are easily accessible in warm weather. For organised entertainment, Tivoli Gardens is a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout, a 24-hour front desk, and a business centre with free desktop computers. Luggage lockers (DKK 20 per day) allow storage until midnight. Express check-in/out via app or key-drop is available, and there is a digital key that also works for the elevator but may occasionally need a physical card from reception. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for a fee. The hotel is fully non-smoking and offers allergy-free rooms. Accessible rooms with grab rails and wider bathrooms are available. A lift serves all floors. On-site parking costs 295 DKK per day (reservation not possible); street parking is also available. Bicycle rental is 130 DKK per day. Housekeeping is only performed if requested before 22:00 the night before - it is not automatic. The hotel does not accept pets. The lobby café sells drinks and snacks 24 hours.
