ARTTO HOTEL, Glasgow

Glasgow Central Station is directly across the road (20 yards), providing rail links across Scotland and local train services to Hampden Park, the Hydro complex (one stop), and Queen Street station (10 minutes walk). Glasgow Airport is 13 km away; the airport bus stops on Hope Street, a short walk from the hotel. The business district, Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art (5 minutes), Royal Concert Hall (12 minutes), and many restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. The area is lively, with some street noise, but the location is ideal for exploring the city without a car.

Breakfast is served from 7:00-9:30 Monday-Friday and 7:30-10:00 Saturday-Sunday. It is a self-service continental buffet with bread, pastries, cereal, cold meats, cheese, juice and hot drinks; no hot items are included. For other meals, Bombay Blue, the in-house Indian restaurant, serves a la carte Punjabi specialities, a curry buffet, and pre-order dishes, open from 12:00 daily. The Aria bar offers a snack menu (burgers, pakoras, pizzas) and a full range of drinks with promotions, open until late. The bar and reception area also serve coffee and pastries.

All rooms have free WiFi. The hotel operates a 24-hour front desk and security, with daily housekeeping (though some rooms may have inconsistent cleaning depth). Luggage can be left at reception before check-in and until 18:00 on checkout day. Late check-out can be requested for £10/hour for up to 2 hours. The lift serves all floors but has been unreliable; no mobility-accessible rooms exist. Parking is not on-site; book at Q-Park Waterloo or Jamaica Street with discount code ARTTO40 for about £15/day. The hotel accepts cash (with a deposit) and major credit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo). No pets, no bicycles storage, and no airport shuttle; taxis can be arranged at reception.
