BEST WESTERN PLUS APPLE VALLEY LODGE PIGEON FORGE, Pigeon Forge

Grand Majestic Theater, WonderWorks, and Tanger Outlet Center are all within 3 km. The Island in Pigeon Forge is a 7-minute drive away. Nearby dining includes Krystal, Wendy's, and the Apple Barn Cider Mill, all within 0.5 km. The location is on the main Parkway, but some access points require U-turns to rejoin the road. Covered parking under the hotel is convenient for standard vehicles, though large trucks may find height and space limitations. The surrounding area is quieter than the main strip but still close to all activities.

Standard rooms offer one or two beds; loft rooms provide a king bed downstairs and a queen or bunk beds upstairs, ideal for families. Some suites include a separate seating area with a fireplace and spa tub. Balconies overlook either the neighborhood or the Parkway. Air conditioning units in some rooms can struggle with humidity, leading to a musty smell. Noise from hallways and doors is noticeable; rooms on higher floors or away from elevators tend to be quieter. Room maintenance and cleanliness can vary, so inspecting the room upon arrival is recommended. Handicap-accessible rooms with roll-in showers are available on the first floor.

Breakfast items include sausage, bacon (on different days), scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, bagels, pancakes, toast, breakfast potatoes, waffles, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Beverages include coffee, apple and orange juice, and milk. The breakfast area is large and well-maintained, though food may run out or become cold near the 10:00 AM closing. Staff keep the buffet restocked during busy times. No restaurant or bar is on site for other meals; vending machines offer drinks and snacks. Several fast-food and local restaurants are within a 5-minute walk.

The pool features a fence around the perimeter, shallow end for children, and complimentary pool towels and sun loungers. A free fitness centre with stationary bike and other cardio equipment is available. Nearby leisure activities include golf courses within 3 km (additional charge), free hiking trails off-site, and cycling, fishing, horse riding, and skiing (all off-site with additional charges). Ski pass vendor and ski school are available for winter sports. The pool area has covered seating and is generally clean, though towels are not always provided at the pool.
