Hotel Details

Location

Set in the heart of the Jordaan district, Bridge Inn sits directly on a canal with stunning water and bridge views.

Anne Frank House is less than 1 km away, and Amsterdam Central Station is a 14-minute walk, making the city easily explorable on foot. Dam Square (18-minute walk), Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder, and the Royal Palace Amsterdam are all about 1 km away. Schiphol Airport is 16 km from the property. The surrounding area offers abundant restaurants, cafes, and a Saturday market in the next street. The location is highly central, with the tram stop very close for reaching outlying attractions.

Accommodation

Rooms provide canal or city views, each with a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

Amenities include a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, tea and coffee maker, hairdryer, work desk, and parquet flooring. While the room size is often described as reasonable or larger than expected for Amsterdam, some units are on the smaller side. A key feature for many is the stunning canal vista, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The space is best suited for short stays. Blackout shades help with sleep, though some windows lack sheer curtains for daytime privacy.

Dining

Breakfast is available for an additional charge of €15 per person at a downstairs cafe.

The breakfast is a continental-style meal served at a neighbouring cafe using vouchers. While the property does not have its own restaurant, the vibrant Jordaan district offers a wide variety of nearby dining options within a 2-minute walk, including cafes, Thai, Chinese, Italian, and Argentinian restaurants. The cafe directly below the property is described as cosy and serves food until the afternoon.

Facilities and Services

The property offers free WiFi, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage, all with a 24-hour automated front desk.

WiFi is available throughout the building and free of charge, though some rooms have experienced connectivity issues. A luggage storage service is available before check-in and after check-out, which many find useful for exploring hands-free. The self-service check-in uses codes provided before arrival. There is no on-site staff, so all communication is by email or automated system. Smoking is prohibited throughout. Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are installed for safety.

01
Book a room facing the canal for the best views, but be aware the area can become noisy, especially if windows are open.
02
Factor in that access involves very steep, narrow stairs; this property is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage.
03
Plan for an automated, self-service check-in and check-out-no reception desk is available on-site.
04
Arrive with an empty bladder: the only bathroom facilities are private, but lack of towel hooks and slow drains can be inconvenient in shared-use rooms.
