The immediate streets are moderately quiet at night, but some side streets can feel less busy after dark; overall it is safe for solo travellers, especially women, up to around 23:00.

Room types include twin/double rooms with private bathroom, family rooms (5 beds), quadruple (4 beds), triple (3 beds), single rooms, and female-only dormitories (4-6 beds) - all with shared bathrooms except the twin/double. Dorm beds are single (no bunks). Each room has a sink, mirror, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, heating, and an electric kettle. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making and cleaning. Sound insulation between rooms and from the corridor is limited, so corridor noise and conversations in adjacent rooms can be heard. Road-facing rooms may be noisier due to nearby construction. Some rooms have had issues with electricity key cards cutting power when removed; taking the card with you to the bathroom will turn off the room's lights and outlets. Lockers are provided in the corridor, not inside the room, and require a padlock. The property has an elevator, and the building is generally secure with key card access and CCTV.
