The holiday park is surrounded by hills and countryside, offering mountain views and a quiet atmosphere. It is 14 km from Lake of Menteith, 27 km from Mugdock Country Park, and 31 km from Glasgow Cathedral. The nearest shops are a 15-minute drive away in Balfron, and the city of Stirling is 30 minutes by car. Taxis are limited and costly. The location is ideal for walks, hikes, and exploring nearby attractions; having your own vehicle is strongly recommended for accessing supplies and local sights.

The ClubHouse Bistro provides a convenient dining option with affordable British dishes for dinner. Gluten-free options are available, and the bar also offers a children's menu. The bistro is closed from the end of October to the end of March. During the off-season, you will need to prepare meals in your accommodation or drive to nearby towns. Service can be slow at busy times; planning ahead is advisable. The surrounding area has no restaurants within walking distance, so on-site dining or self-catering is your primary option.

The park features a seasonal indoor heated pool (open from late March to late October). Access may incur a charge - reported at £3 for 45 minutes. A hot tub is also on site, though availability can vary. Free darts are available in the games room. Outdoors, there is a children's play park and a designated dog exercise area where pets can run off-lead. The games room has been reported as partially out of order at times. During the off-season (November to March), the pool and hot tub are not operational.

Free private parking is available on site, but you must reserve a space - one vehicle per unit, with additional overflow parking at reception. An electric vehicle charging station is provided. Pets are allowed on request, with a maximum of two dogs and a £25 charge per dog per stay. There is no WiFi across the park, but mobile phone reception is strong. For pods, bedlinen can be hired at £25 per pack (includes sheet, duvet, cover, pillows, and pillowcases). Caravans and lodges come with bedding and towels. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00; the on-site team can accommodate late arrivals with prior communication.
