The hotel sits on a one-way street in the Opera district, keeping street-level noise low while placing you under 200 metres from Poissonnière Metro (line 7). With a seven-minute walk to Gare du Nord and its Eurostar and RER B services to Charles de Gaulle Airport, the location is especially practical for rail travellers. A 5-to-10-minute walk reaches Gare de l'Est. The neighbourhood is packed with restaurants, cafés, and bakeries; a small supermarket is open until 22:30 around the corner. Many top attractions lie within a 20-minute metro ride: Louvre, Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, and Sacré-Coeur. The area is lively but felt safe, with a few visible homeless individuals near the hotel at night.

All rooms were refurbished in 2020 and feature a classic Parisian style with wood and exposed beams, modern bathrooms, and flat-screen satellite TVs. Rooms are compact; triple and family configurations can feel very tight, with limited storage. Some single and double rooms have bathrooms described as exceptionally small, with the toilet partially under the sink. Beds are comfortable but narrow, and some double beds are on wheels. Noise carries easily between rooms and from the hallway, lift, and street-facing windows. Two rooms are air-conditioned and adapted for reduced mobility; the others use fans during hot weather. The top-floor attic rooms have sloping ceilings and no lift access. Basic amenities include a hairdryer and safe; no kettle, mini-fridge, or in-room coffee is provided. Hot water is available, but some reported no hot water late at night. A very small lift serves the main floors but not all upper levels; stairs are narrow and winding.

The breakfast is a continental-style buffet with organic products, breads, pressed orange juice, cheese, ham, and eggs. It is served in a small area that doubles as the lounge and reception hall. When busy, it can feel cramped and tables may not be cleared promptly. Breakfast can be taken in the room upon request. There is no restaurant on site, but the surrounding streets offer dozens of restaurants, cafés, and bakeries within a 5-minute walk. The vending machine in the lobby provides basic drinks around the clock.
