COMFORT HOTEL VESTERBRO, Copenhagen

The hotel is centrally located in Vesterbro, a lively area with bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Copenhagen Central Station is a 5-7 minute walk, providing direct regional trains to the airport (40 DKK one way), metro, and bus lines such as the 5C. Tivoli Gardens is also nearby, and the city hall square is about 15 minutes on foot. For car-free exploration, the station and metro make it easy to reach all major sights. A Lidl supermarket is right next door, ideal for snacks and essentials. Parking is available at a nearby public garage for 320 DKK per day, but spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. The area is generally walkable, though some streets can feel less polished; for a more scenic route, stick to the main thoroughfares.

Breakfast is a buffet offering a wide selection including breads, pastries, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, hot items (such as scrambled eggs and bacon), and a choice of hot drinks. Vegan options include fruit and muesli. The breakfast is served in pre-assigned 1-hour time slots (weekdays from 6:30, weekends from 7:30) to manage crowding; slots can fill up, so arrive promptly. For lunch and dinner, the hotel has a bar with snacks and drinks, plus a snack bar. Several restaurants and bars are within a 2-3 minute walk, such as Plectrum Vesterbro, Mikkeller Bar, and Cofoco. A Lidl supermarket next door is useful for self-catering. The hotel does not offer room service or in-room dining facilities beyond the kettle in Superior rooms.

The hotel offers a free, well-equipped fitness centre with modern machines. On-site bicycle rental is available for a fee, a practical way to explore Copenhagen's flat, bike-friendly streets. The common areas include a shared lounge/TV area and a leisure zone with table tennis and other games, providing social interaction opportunities. There is no pool, spa, or sauna. The on-site laundry (token-operated, 70 DKK per wash/dry cycle) and a minimarket are additional conveniences. For those with a Strawberry membership, complimentary hot drinks are available in the lounge.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Reception is open 24 hours and offers express check-in/out, luggage storage (accessible even after midnight, ring the doorbell), and concierge services. A laundry is available on-site for a fee (70 DKK for both washing and drying). Business services include a meeting/banquet room and fax/photocopying (both additional charge). Pets are allowed on request (300 DKK per dog per stay). Accessible parking is possible at a nearby public garage (320 DKK/day), but spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. The hotel has a lift, soundproofed rooms, and key card access for security. Self-check-in kiosks are available for contactless arrival. Housekeeping is not daily; rooms are serviced every fourth night. For early arrivals, early check-in can be arranged for 100 DKK (subject to availability).
