SAVOY HOTEL, Copenhagen

The hotel sits in the lively Vesterbro neighbourhood, a short 5-minute walk from the Meat Packing district (Kødbyen) and 200 metres from the Tycho Brahe Planetarium. Copenhagen Central Station is within an easy 10-minute walk, providing direct rail and metro links to the airport. The Little Mermaid is about a 12-minute walk away. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops line the street, and the area remains convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. The surrounding streets offer late-night dining options.

Rooms are divided into categories including Tiny Double (smallest), Standard Double, Superior, Twin, and Suite (with separate living room). All rooms look onto the courtyard, which helps reduce street noise. Some standard rooms are compact and may feel basic, with limited storage and no in-room kettle or mini fridge. The twin beds are 90 x 200 cm. Private bathrooms vary: some are small and can become wet after a shower, and some units have a shower curtain rather than a separate enclosure. Carpeted floors are standard. No air conditioning is available, and rooms rely on opening windows for cooling. Heating is provided, though some rooms have been noted to feel draughty from older windows. Soundproofing between rooms and from the hallway is limited; earplugs are provided.

Breakfast is served as an Organic Breakfast Bag, which typically includes a croissant, yogurt, muesli, fruit, juice, and a hot drink. It can be purchased online in advance for a lower price (DKK 125). The bag can be taken away or delivered to the room. A coffee house on site offers snacks and bar drinks, including wine and champagne. For a wider selection, numerous restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk. Snack bars and packed lunches are available from the hotel.

The hotel offers bicycle rental and bike tours, making it easy to explore Copenhagen on two wheels. The courtyard and sun terrace provide outdoor seating. Nearby leisure includes the Tycho Brahe Planetarium (200 metres) and the Meat Packing district for nightlife. Board games and puzzles are available at the lobby bar. There is no fitness centre, swimming pool, or spa on the property.
