The Eastern Docklands offers wide-open water, contemporary architecture, and boutique shops along Czaar Peterstraat, away from the tourist crowds. The city centre is a 10-minute bike ride or a short tram trip using line 26 or 7 from the Rietlandpark stop, just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Amsterdam Centraal Station is about 10 minutes by tram, providing connections to Schiphol Airport (20-minute drive) and international services. Parking is available in the Rietlandpark garage on a first-come basis at €3.50/hour or €35/day. Walking to the central area takes around 25 minutes, and a regular tram service runs every 3-5 minutes, making it a practical base for exploring the city without a car.

Each room is individually designed with nods to the building's history, including contemporary furnishings, velvet headboards, and geometric patterns. Cosy rooms are affordable for light travellers, while Tower rooms offer queen beds and skyline views. Biggy and Studio rooms can accommodate up to four, and concept rooms include features like grand pianos, hidden doors, or five-person beds. Some rooms have open-plan bathrooms with the shower in the middle of the room, no curtain, or a glass divider - this is normal and part of the design. Noise from street-facing rooms or rooms above the terrace can be an issue; earplugs are provided. Rooms with lower star ratings (e.g. basement or 1-star) may have limited natural light, tiled floors, and a basic feel, while higher-rated rooms are more spacious and comfortable. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds, and amenities include coffee/tea facilities, mini fridge, safe, TV, hairdryer, Roberts radio, and free phone calls. Hypoallergenic bedding and cots are available on request. Air conditioning is available in some rooms.

The on-site Breman Brasserie offers a seafood-focused menu and a sun-drenched terrace for al fresco dining, open 07:00-23:00 daily. Breakfast is available in several options: a light bag with granola bar, OJ, and banana for €5 (ordered the night before by filling in a bag and hanging it on the door), a full buffet with fresh bread, eggs, bacon, fruit, and muesli for €15, or a continental buffet for €17. Room service breakfast is also available 07:00-22:00. The Lobby Bar serves coffee, drinks, and snacks, and a speakeasy-style bar and a cocktail bar (Barbue) are also on-site. The hotel offers a private dining kitchen (The Pantry) for events. For a quick drink, the bar serves cocktails and a selection of drinks at high-street prices. A café and a supermarket are located directly opposite the hotel.

Temporary art galleries are hosted within the hotel, and there is a terrace for relaxing outdoors. The hotel has no on-site gym, but the front desk can recommend nearby fitness studios. A library and co-working space are available, and the hotel also hosts a cinema deal.
