SOTETSU FRESA INN GINZA-NANACHOME, Tokyo

The hotel sits on a quieter street just off Ginza's main shopping area, providing easy walking access to flagship stores, Ginza Six, and Tsukiji Market. Two subway lines (Hibiya and Ginza) are within a 5-10 minute walk, giving direct connections to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Asakusa. Haneda Airport is a 50-minute train ride via the Keikyu-Kuko Line, while Narita Airport can be reached by the Airport Limousine Bus (stops 3 minutes away, 90 minutes) or by train via the Narita Express to Tokyo Station. A Family Mart convenience store is directly accessible from the hotel lobby, and a 7-Eleven, Don Quijote, and numerous restaurants are within a few minutes' walk. For weekend visitors, Ginza's main street is pedestrianised, creating a comfortable shopping environment.

Room sizes are typical for Tokyo budget hotels, with standard double and twin rooms being very compact-often too small to open a large suitcase without placing it on the bed. Premium twin and deluxe twin rooms offer noticeably more space and are strongly recommended for those who need floor space for luggage. Adjoining rooms combine a triple room (two single beds 120 cm wide plus a sofa bed) with a comfort double room (one double bed 140 cm wide), providing two separate bathrooms and a door between them. Each room includes air conditioning, soundproof walls, a carpeted floor, and city views from higher floors. Some rooms face the road and may experience street noise; higher floors are quieter. The air conditioning can be noisy and may cycle off automatically; windows are bolted shut, so no fresh air is possible. Beds are firm; pillows are hard and lack support. Unit bathrooms are small and can sometimes have odours. No rooms have a balcony or kitchenette.

The breakfast buffet offers a range of Japanese and Western options, including hot dishes, bread, pastries, and drinks. The selection is decent but can become repetitive for stays longer than a few days. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk on the day of your stay, so you can decide each morning. The on-site restaurant also serves dinner in the evening, though opening times are limited. For other meals, a Family Mart convenience store is directly connected to the hotel lobby, offering snacks, drinks, and fresh meals 24/7. Drinks vending machines (including alcohol) are available on the premises. Several restaurants, including Katsuki 銀座本店 (European cuisine), Italian, sushi, and Indian options, are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel does not provide complimentary water bottles in rooms.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and generally fast. The 24-hour front desk allows late-night check-ins and early departures. Luggage storage is free both before check-in and after check-out; the hotel can also hold luggage for up to 8 days if you have a second reservation. A luggage delivery service (e.g., Yamato) is available for sending suitcases to your next hotel. The coin laundry room (3 washers, 3 dryers) operates 24/7 and detergent is automatically added. A free-use computer, along with a printer, copy, and fax machine, is available for business needs. A common microwave, ice machine, and drinks vending machines are on the lobby floor. Daily housekeeping is free and can be declined if preferred. Safety features include key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and safety deposit boxes. Payment is accepted via major credit cards (Amex, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Discover, Diners Club) and cash. No business centre or meeting rooms are available.
