HOTEL STROMBOLI, Rome

The hotel sits on the lively Via Marsala, directly adjacent to Termini station's Via Marsala exit. Reaching all city areas is easy via two metro lines (A and B) and numerous bus routes. Coaches to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports stop right in front of the hotel, and a taxi to Fiumicino costs around €40 and to Ciampino around €30. Via Nazionale shopping street is a 5-minute walk away. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Santa Maria Maggiore basilica are all within a straightforward walk. The immediate area has many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and shops. Late-night arrivals pass through a busy station area; the street itself remains active.

Breakfast includes coffee (cappuccino and espresso made fresh by staff), a selection of pastries, cakes, cereal, bread, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and sweet items. Hot dishes are limited. Room-service breakfast is also available. For other meals, there is no restaurant on site, but the surrounding area offers many options: diverse restaurants (Italian, Chinese, and quick-service options) are all within a 0.3-km walk. The hotel also has a vending machine for drinks. Those with specific dietary needs or wanting a more substantial hot meal may find better options in the many eateries just outside the door.

No wellness or leisure facilities are available on site. The hotel's primary leisure value is its central location, which allows easy walking to Rome's major historic sites. Rome city tours can be booked directly at reception, and the lively Termini area offers abundant shopping, dining, and nightlife options.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas, but connectivity can be weaker on the upper floors and in rooms located in the secondary building. The 24-hour reception enables late check-in without extra charge. Luggage storage is free and available both before official check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are included. An express check-in/check-out service is offered. A safety deposit box is free at reception. There is an elevator, and rooms with disabled access are available. The hotel has a minimarket on site for basic essentials. No private airport shuttle exists, but taxis are plentiful at Termini. City tours can be arranged at the front desk. Cots are available on request.
