Hotel Details

Location

Just a 3-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station, the hotel offers direct rail connections to Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Ikebukuro Station is one of Tokyo's busiest hubs, with 8 train lines serving the area. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sunshine City, a major shopping and entertainment complex. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and a 7-Eleven directly opposite. Haneda Airport is roughly 50 minutes away by train. No parking is available, so public transport is the recommended option.

Accommodation

Rooms are compact with an elegantly simple design, air conditioning, a shower booth, and a flat-screen TV. Shiseido toiletries and pajamas are provided.

The hotel offers double, twin, and triple rooms, all with a private bathroom featuring a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Standard double beds measure 206 cm x 140 cm. Some rooms have been renovated and are described as spacious, while others are very small (around 8-15 m2). The air conditioning is centrally controlled, meaning individual temperature adjustment is not possible; a fan can be requested if needed. Traffic noise may affect street-facing rooms. Rooms are non-smoking and include an electric kettle, tea bags, refrigerator, and free toiletries. There are no balconies. Extra beds are only available in Deluxe rooms.

Dining

A breakfast buffet is served daily at Salvatore Cuomo & Bar for an additional charge of 1980 JPY, offering both Japanese and continental options.

The on-site Italian restaurant Salvatore Cuomo & Bar opens for breakfast (07:00-09:30), lunch, and dinner (11:30-14:30). Breakfast is a buffet with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves wood-oven pizza and other Italian specialties. Free tea, coffee, and snacks are available in the lobby at certain times. Numerous restaurants and cafés are within a short walk.

Wellness and Leisure

A fitness centre is available at an additional charge, located outside the hotel. No spa or swimming pool on site.

Guests can access a nearby gym for a fee of about 2170 yen per visit (no time limit, but no re-entry). The hotel also offers massage services and a coin laundry on the 7th floor. There is no pool, spa, or wellness centre. The surrounding area offers extensive shopping and entertainment at Sunshine City and Ikebukuro's many shops and arcades.
