APARTAMENTOS LOS VOLCANES, Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

The apartments sit in a quiet side street yet are surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets within a 2-10 minute walk. Playa Chica beach is directly accessible on foot, and the main beach and promenade are a few minutes further. Lanzarote Airport is 7 km away-a quick 10-minute taxi ride. The area is flat with no hills, making it easy to get around without a car. A bus stop is nearby for exploring the island, and street parking is free but can be tight in the evening.

One-bedroom apartments feature a private balcony with sea views and are located on the second floor (stairs only). Two-bedroom apartments have an outside terrace by the door; the superior two-bedroom variant includes an internal balcony and is on the second floor. Rooms include a kitchen with stovetop, microwave, fridge, and washing machine. Beds are firm and supportive, with comfortable pillows. Some apartments have a separate living area with a sofa bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels are standard. The standard of furnishings and décor varies between units-some feel basic or dated while others are well-kept. The property overall is older but clean when properly serviced.

Each apartment has a well-fitted kitchen with a stovetop, microwave, kettle, and washing machine, allowing for full self-catering. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. However, the surrounding streets offer a wide variety of cuisines within a 2-10 minute walk, including Italian, Chinese, tapas, German bakery, and Irish pub. A supermarket is also nearby for groceries. For a casual drink, the sports centre across the road has a pool bar.

The main leisure facilities are at the Centro Deportivo Fariones, a 1-minute walk across the street. Access is included with your stay. The sports centre has a 25-metre outdoor heated pool (lane swimming only, often used for lessons), a jacuzzi, sauna, and a well-equipped gym. There are also padel and tennis courts, and a fitness class schedule. The pool area has sun loungers and umbrellas, but the pool itself is not a typical holiday leisure pool-it is primarily for lap swimming and training. For a more relaxed swim, the nearby beaches are a better option. The apartments have no private pool or garden.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. A 24-hour front desk provides tour desk services and luggage storage at no extra charge. Private check-in/out is available. A safe deposit box is free. The host is responsive via WhatsApp and often accommodates early check-in or late checkout. Paid airport shuttle and car hire can be arranged. Babysitting and evening entertainment can be booked at an additional charge. The property has no on-site parking; free street parking is available but limited.
