Located at Barqueta Street, the complex is 350 m from the beach and a short, level walk from the seafront promenade, bars, and restaurants. The nearest airport, Lanzarote Airport, is 10 km away. Free public parking is available directly on the street in front of the complex, making a car convenient. For those who prefer not to walk up the slight hill, an alternative flat route uses the nearby Soco shopping centre lifts. Lidl supermarket is a 5-10 minute walk away, with Mercadona and Hiperdino also nearby.

The complex has 14 apartments, split evenly between 7 upstairs and 7 downstairs units. Each apartment includes one separate bedroom, a living room, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a full-size fridge-freezer. A washing machine is provided in every apartment, which is a practical bonus for longer stays. The bedrooms have quiet air conditioning, and a large fan is provided in the living area. Upstairs apartments feature a terrace, often with pool views, while downstairs units have a balcony or terrace. The apartments are spacious and clean, with comfortable double beds. Towels are changed twice a week, and bedding is changed weekly.

Cactus does not have a restaurant, bar, or offer breakfast. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a hob, microwave, refrigerator, and kettle, making self-catering straightforward. The main seafront strip, a 5-10 minute walk away, has a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and grills including El Quijote, Sunset Beach, and Blair's Restaurant, all within 0.5 km. Lidl supermarket is a 5-minute walk, and Hiperdino and Mercadona are also nearby for groceries.

The outdoor saltwater pool is open all year, and the surrounding sun terrace offers plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The pool area is kept very clean and is known for being quiet and relaxing, with loungers always available. There is no gym, spa, or wellness centre on site. Off-site activities such as diving, fishing, hiking, horse riding, tennis, and golf can be arranged (some with additional charges).

The property offers free 1 GB Wi-Fi throughout, which is reliable for remote work. Free public parking is available on the street directly outside, with no reservation needed. The host, Maria, provides a warm welcome and is available daily to assist with questions, arrange airport taxis, and facilitate early check-in or late check-out subject to availability. Luggage storage and a shower facility are available for late departures. Safety features include a safety deposit box (free), CCTV in common areas, and fire extinguishers. Smoking is permitted on balconies and terraces. The complex is wheelchair accessible for downstairs apartments. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and Red 6000.
