The exhibition grounds are reachable by direct train from the main station in 20 minutes. The immediate area includes a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and the Stachus shopping arcade. At night, the surrounding streets can be lively; light sleepers may prefer rooms at the back of the building. For airport transfers, the S-Bahn takes about 45 minutes directly to the main station.

Room sizes are compact, particularly the bathrooms, which are small but functional. Each room features heating, a safe, and a hairdryer. Superior rooms add air conditioning, while standard rooms rely on opening windows. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, but balconies are shared between neighbouring rooms. Connecting doors between some rooms reduce sound privacy. The furniture is older but functional; daily housekeeping is provided. For comfort, request a room away from the street to minimise noise. Bed configurations include double, twin, and single, with comfortable mattresses reported.

The breakfast room features hand-painted country scenes and offers a varied buffet including bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereals, pastries, eggs, and hot drinks. In summer, breakfast can also be taken on the courtyard terrace. There is no restaurant on site, but numerous dining options are within a short walk. Early breakfast takeaway is possible upon request. The bar serves drinks on the terrace during summer evenings.
