The hotel is situated in a central area, 400 metres from the main railway station and within a 5-minute walk to the pedestrianised old town. The Oktoberfest festival site is a 10-minute walk away. Several restaurants, cafés and bars are within 300 metres, including Augustiner-Keller 1 km away. Public parking is available at the HBF Süd garage directly opposite at a reduced rate of €16 per 24 hours when the parking ticket is stamped at reception. The area has tram and metro stops within a 2-minute walk, making it easy to reach all parts of Munich without a car.

Private rooms (single, double, twin) include a private bathroom with hairdryer and towels. Dormitory rooms have either a private bathroom or a shared bathroom within the room. All rooms are non-smoking and feature air conditioning and heating. The bunk beds are metal framed and can be noisy when moved; lower bunks have limited headroom for sitting up. Lockers are provided in dormitories (usually 4 per 6-bed room) and can be used with a personal lock (deposit required for rental). There are no privacy curtains or individual reading lights on the bunks. Family rooms have four beds and a private bathroom; groups of five can book a six-bed room and leave one bed empty. No rooms have balconies.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, and hot drinks. The on-site bar serves a selection of beer and cold non-alcoholic beverages, with a happy hour from 16:00 to 19:00. Wine and champagne are available for an additional charge.
