Dam Square and the Royal Palace are less than a minute away, while Beurs van Berlage is 500 metres distant and the Basilica of St. Nicholas under 1 km. The Flower Market is 2 km, Rembrandt House 3 km, and Schiphol Airport 18 km. Amsterdam Central Station is a 15-20 minute walk; the Rokin Metro station is even closer. The immediate area is packed with restaurants, shops and attractions, yet many rooms remain quiet thanks to soundproof walls. The steep stairs typical of old Amsterdam buildings are a notable feature, but the location makes exploring the city on foot very convenient.

Room types include family rooms with two or three single beds, all with a private shower, toilet, hairdryer and free toiletries. Triple rooms are available on the first floor. There is no lift; access is via very steep, narrow stairs that can be challenging with luggage or for those with limited mobility. No rooms are on the ground floor. Rooms are cleaned daily, and tea/coffee supplies are replenished. Some rooms are spacious and modern, while others are more compact. A fan is provided to compensate for the lack of air conditioning. The focus is on practical comfort rather than luxury, with clean, well-maintained interiors.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant or provide breakfast. However, within 300 metres you will find Oriental City, Dam Steakhouse, San Thomas, Green House Coffeeshop, Ramen-Ya Amsterdam, Rene's Croissanterie and Dolce & Gelato Bio. This variety covers steaks, ramen, Italian, croissants and gelato - suitable for any meal of the day. Many cafes serve breakfast, making it easy to grab a coffee and pastry before heading out to explore.
