The hotel occupies part of a historic building on a central street. Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is a 4-5 minute walk, making arrival with a suitcase less stressful on Florence's cobblestones. The Duomo is 2-3 minutes on foot; the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio are about 10 minutes away. The streets feel safe even late at night, and the area is packed with restaurants, cafés, and a gelateria 30 metres from the entrance. A tram stop outside the door allows car-free access across the city, while the airport bus from the station is a short walk away.

All rooms have been recently modernised and are described as very clean and comfortable. They include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, a safe, and an electric kettle with tea and coffee. Every room has a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, except for one single room where the private bathroom is located externally in the corridor (exclusive use, 2 metres away). Room sizes vary - single rooms are efficient for one person, while larger rooms offer more space and street views. Windows open for fresh air, and noise from the street or hallways is generally manageable. One room near the front door may hear other visitors arriving.

No on-site restaurant or breakfast service is always included - check your booking details to confirm whether breakfast is part of the rate.
