HOVIMA JARDIN CALETA, Costa Adeje (Tenerife)

The hotel sits directly opposite the beach and is a 5-minute walk from the La Caleta fishing village harbour with its selection of restaurants. Playa del Duque is approximately a 10-minute walk away. The area is peaceful and picturesque, suited to those who prefer relaxation over a bustling nightlife. A bus stop (routes 467 and 452) is a short walk from the hotel, providing cheap and direct access to Costa Adeje (around 30-40 minutes walk or a 5-minute bus ride) and further to Las Americas and Los Cristianos. A supermarket is located immediately next door. La Caleta has numerous seafood restaurants and a beach with sunbeds (around €18 for two with an umbrella). The Costa Adeje Golf Resort is 1 km away.

The hotel offers apartments in Standard, Superior, and Excellence categories. Standard rooms are basic and do not have air conditioning, relying on a portable fan; a mobile AC unit can be rented for an €80 weekly fee. Superior and Excellence rooms include air conditioning in the bedroom and often offer sea views, with Excellence rooms also providing access to an adults-only rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi. Each apartment features a lounge area with a sofa bed, satellite TV, a rental safe, and a kitchenette equipped with a hob, kettle, and toaster. Bedrooms may have twin beds which can be separate or pushed together. While the apartments are clean and spacious, the furniture and bathrooms are often described as tired and showing signs of wear such as chipped paint, rust, and loose fittings. Some apartments have separate bedrooms and two balconies. The sofa bed in the living area is noted as less comfortable for adults. Road-facing rooms or those above the restaurant may experience more noise.

The main restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and dinner. Breakfast includes a selection of bread, pastries, fruit, cereals, eggs, and hot items, and is generally considered adequate. Dinner offers a variety of themed buffets such as Mexican, Mediterranean, Canarian, Italian, and BBQ. The Sunday BBQ night is often highlighted as the best option. Water is included with dinner; all other drinks are at an extra charge. The quality and temperature of the food in the restaurant receive very mixed assessments; it is frequently described as cold, bland, and repetitive. A key limitation is the lack of a dedicated children's section at dinner, though children's favourites like pizza and chips are available. An in-room breakfast option is available. The poolside snack bar serves pizza, chips, burgers, and hot dogs, and is a popular option for children. Several restaurants are within a short walk in the La Caleta harbour area.

The 24-hour reception can assist with tour bookings, concierge services, and luggage storage. Paid laundry and dry-cleaning services are available. Car and bicycle hire can be arranged at the hotel. The hotel provides a paid meeting/banquet facility. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is on site. The minimarket sells essentials. The property has a lift and is air-conditioned in common areas. Facilities for disabled guests are available. A designated smoking area is provided. Babysitting and child services are available for an extra charge, and there is an indoor play area. The hotel also offers a fax/photocopying service.
