It is approximately a 25-minute walk from Waverley Station via Leith Street and Broughton Street, or a 15-minute walk from the Bus Station, located between St Andrews Square and York Place. From the airport, the Airlink bus runs to St Andrews Square, followed by a 20-minute walk via Dublin St, East London St, and Bellevue. Alternatively, the tram runs from the airport to Picardy Place, a 10-minute walk to the B&B via Broughton Street and Bellevue.

This family-run bed and breakfast is a traditional 19th-century property with period and modern features. All bedrooms and the lounge/breakfast room are at ground level with doors wide enough for wheelchair access. One room features an en-suite accessible to those with restricted mobility, and a shower seat is available upon request. Parking is on-street and ticketed by machine or the RingGo App from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, at GBP 2.60 per hour, with a 4-hour limit. Parking is free on weekends from Fri 17:30 to Mon 08:30. Free parking is available along Broughton Road and outside the Central Controlled Parking Zone.
