PENSION ANI, Vienna

The Brünnlbadgasse Tram Stop (lines 43 and 44) is immediately outside the building, connecting to Schottentor Underground Station (line U2) in just 3 minutes. The city centre and main sights such as the Rathaus and Hofburg are within a 25-30 minute walk or a short tram ride. Several supermarkets (Billa, SPAR, Hofer), bakeries, cafés, and restaurants are within a few minutes' walk, including Pizzeria Ristorante Toscana, Cafe-Restaurant Winter, and a pub at 0.5 km. The St. Anna Children's Hospital is directly opposite. For airport transfers, public transport takes 45-60 minutes; taxis are the only option after midnight as night public transport does not service all routes. The neighbourhood is considered one of the best-rated areas in Vienna.

Room options include single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms, each with a private bathroom featuring a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some rooms have a separate lavatory in the corridor. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a wardrobe, parquet floors, a safety deposit box, and heating. Many rooms feature large windows, and some have a fan. Room sizes vary significantly - some are quite compact, making them more suitable for short stays or solo travellers, while triple and quadruple rooms offer more space. Toilet access in some rooms is via a separate small room in the hallway. Room 33 is noted as having a better layout and view. Rooms can be affected by street noise or construction, and light sleepers may prefer a room away from the tram line.

Pension Ani does not have a restaurant or offer breakfast. Instead, a shared common room with tables, chairs, a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle is available for preparing simple meals or storing food. There is no sink or kitchen in this area. The surrounding streets have several bakeries and cafés within a 1-minute walk, such as Baeckerei Schwarz and Cafe-Restaurant Winter, which serve breakfast and light meals. Restaurants, including Pizzeria Ristorante Toscana, Restaurant Jaipur Palace (Indian), and a pub, are all within 0.5 km. This setup suits travellers who plan to eat out or prepare simple snacks in the common area.

The pension does not offer wellness or leisure facilities such as a spa, swimming pool, sauna, or fitness centre. Guests seeking these services will need to explore options in the city centre, which is a short tram ride away.
