The hostel sits in a quiet residential area with a supermarket, café, and multiple restaurants within 200 metres. The city centre is a 10-minute metro ride or a 25-minute walk (3 km). Westbahnhof provides direct airport bus service (every 30 min, €8, 40 min) and connections to all Vienna landmarks. The Danube is 7 km away and Schönbrunn Palace is 2 km. The nearest tram stop is a 2-minute walk. No parking is available, but free on-street parking is allowed from 7pm to 9am and on weekends, with Park&Ride garages recommended for longer stays.

Dorms have 4-6 or up to 10 beds in mixed dorms, and 3-6 beds in female dorms, each with a reading light and a personal locker using the key card. Private rooms include singles (shared bathroom), doubles (shared or ensuite), triples (private, also available on the ground floor), and studios/apartments with fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and parquet floors. There is no air conditioning; all rooms have heating. Noise from the street or common areas can occur; a quiet policy applies after 23:00. Rooms are cleaned regularly, but guests in dorms make their own beds. Towels are free in private rooms; €1 rental in dorms.

The hostel's bar serves happy hour deals and a popular pale ale. Dinner is prepared by volunteers and is primarily vegetarian/vegan, with a suggested contribution of €5. Free homemade lemonade is offered in the afternoon. The shared kitchen is available for self-catering, equipped with stoves, fridge, and utensils. Breakfast items include fresh bread, pastries, muesli, coffee, and juices. Special diet menus are available on request. Several restaurants and supermarkets are within a short walk for alternative dining options.
