The hostel occupies a former navy barrack on Skeppsholmen, a car-free island in central Stockholm. The Östasiatiska Museet bus stop (bus 65) is 150 metres away, with departures until 21:00. Kungsträdgården metro station is a 10-minute walk, making it practical for reaching Arlanda or central attractions. The island itself is very safe at night, with almost no through traffic, and offers direct access to Moderna Museet and Östasiatiska Museet on foot. For those arriving late, a taxi from Central Station takes about 10 minutes. The location balances seclusion with walkability to Gamla Stan and Stockholm's main sights.

The breakfast buffet offers bread, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, and gluten-free options. The on-site café serves light meals, snacks, and coffee, and is open during the day. Restaurang #1 is open for lunch and dinner, with a family-friendly atmosphere, and can accommodate special dietary requests. The bar and snack bar provide additional options.
