The hostel sits in central Shinjuku, approximately 8 minutes on foot from Shinjuku-sanchome Station (Exit C7) and about 20 minutes from JR Shinjuku Station. The area is well-served by public transport: Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station is also an 8-minute walk, and a bus stop (Shinjuku 1 Kita) is 4 minutes away. Direct airport access is available via the Airport Limousine Bus or Narita Express to Shinjuku Station, followed by a short taxi ride or a 15- to 20-minute walk. The neighbourhood is a blend of busy nightlife and quiet residential streets, with Golden Gai, Kabukicho, and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden all within a 10-minute walk. A 7-Eleven is directly across the street. For travellers who plan to stay out late, the walkability to entertainment districts eliminates reliance on late-night trains.

Dormitories house 12 to 28 capsule-style bunks per room, each with a privacy curtain, indirect lighting, a security box for valuables, a power outlet, and a hanger and shelf. Mixed dormitories are on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors; the 4th floor is female-only, with dedicated showers and amenities. Semi-private spaces within the dormitories use large curtains for separation-these are not enclosed rooms, and noise or temperature fluctuations from the main dorm may be noticeable. Private rooms (family and double) come with air conditioning and either private or shared bathrooms; some private rooms may have significantly limited floor space, particularly those on the 5th floor containing large ventilation pipes. Upper floors are accessible by lift. The capsule-style bunks offer better privacy than standard hostel beds, but the highly social nature of the property means noise from late-night activity is common. Dormitory rooms lack windows, so the air conditioning unit is the primary ventilation source. Housekeeping is daily in common areas but less frequent in dormitories, so the state of cleanliness can vary.

The complimentary breakfast includes bread, croissants, yogurt, granola, eggs, sausage, juice, and tea or coffee. It is served until 10:00, with morning drinks available until 11:00. The basement restaurant, Encounter by UNPLAN, operates from 16:00 to 23:00, offering salads, pastas, main courses, original cocktails, and spirits. There is also a shisha bar in the basement. The bar hosts events and happy hours, and a take-out menu with lunch items, coffee, and granola is available for guests on the go.
