The hostel sits in the calm Vasastan neighbourhood, with Odenplan Metro and commuter rail station just 4-5 minutes on foot. Direct trains connect to Arlanda Airport (40 km away) in about 40 minutes. The building preserves 18th-century character with modern amenities. Dormitories have bunk beds with individual sockets; lower bunks can be requested. Private rooms (Standard King, Economy Twin) include bed linen and towels, while dormitory guests must rent or bring their own. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor; cleanliness standards vary. Rooms have windows with blackout curtains; some face the street and may experience noise from nearby clubs. No air conditioning, but heating is provided. The property has no elevator, so rooms on upper floors require climbing stairs. Room storage includes lockers (bring your own lock) and communal kitchens.

Breakfast is served in the basement dining room from 7:30. The selection can include hot items like eggs and bacon, though variety may vary. Early breakfast cannot be arranged for departures before 7:30. The well-equipped communal kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. Dozens of restaurants, cafes, and bars are within a 5-minute walk on Sveavägen and Odengatan, offering cuisines from tapas to Indian. Nearby grocery stores make self-catering easy.
