The Plaza Mayor, the city's epicentre, is two to five minutes on foot; from there, the River Tormes and key landmarks are a pleasant stroll south. Bus station is 500 metres away, the main train station 2 km, and Matacán Airport 12 km (roughly 20 minutes by taxi). Driving in is straightforward, and parking is available at two nearby garages within 30-50 metres. The central location means almost all tourist destinations are easily walkable, making this a convenient base for sightseeing.

The property offers a variety of room types. Standard double or twin rooms (23 m2) come with a pillow menu, a large desk, plasma TV, minibar, adjustable air conditioning and heating, and a private bathroom with bathtub. Triple rooms add a tourist dossier and a bathtub with screen. Family rooms can accommodate up to four adults with two double beds or one double plus two extra beds, and include a magnifying mirror, desk, and hairdryer. Recently renovated 'New Rooms' (for two adults) feature USB connections, a 42-inch TV, walk-in showers, and modern furnishings. Deluxe rooms (29 m2) add a sofa bed, making them suitable for three guests, with the same upgraded amenities. Road- or square-facing rooms can be noisy at night due to bars and deliveries, while inner courtyard rooms are quieter. All rooms are non-smoking.

The breakfast room can become crowded and queues may form at peak times.
